National Grid Renewables announced a donation of $5,000 to the Crofton Volunteer Fire Department on behalf of the North Fork Wind Farm. The announcement follows a previous $5,000 donation made to the Bloomfield Fire Department towards the purchase of a new fire truck, and two donated benches made from recycled wind turbine blades to the Bloomfield and Crofton Community schools.
