Golden Solar Project
In development
The Golden Solar Project is an up to 100 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic electric generating facility proposed to be located in Caldwell County, Kentucky (the “Project”). The Project will span approximately 1,870 acres. The Project is anticipated to positively impact both the local economy and environment by producing significant tax revenue and other economic benefits for the area, and offsetting carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 153,000 metric tons each year – the equivalent of taking approximately 33,000 cars off the road.
Project Benefits
153,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions offset per year
33,000 the equivalent number of cars removed from the road every year
*Calculations estimated based on National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) JEDI Model and current state tax law for solar facilities. Subject to change.
